Alberta’s private regulated online gambling market launched on 13 July 2026. Casino operators need AGLC registration and an AiGC agreement, with registered sites published in the AiGC directory.
AGLC and AiGC have different roles
AGLC registration and an AiGC agreement are separate requirements. When investigating a casino, read the registered-site entry rather than relying on a general company registration or the same brand’s Ontario presence.
Play Alberta has its own AGLC information. It sits alongside the private-market references in this selection, so you can compare the source that applies to the platform you found.
The directory identifies the casino and its URL
The consulted AiGC cards include Betty Casino, Bally Bet Sportsbook & Casino and Caesars Palace Online Casino. They identify the operating entity and link to the consumer site.
The Alberta route for Caesars Palace includes /ca/ab/casino. Retain that path when copying the address; an Ontario or US page for the same brand belongs to a different territorial check. The result also shows when its source was collected.
Find the Alberta casino entry
Choose Alberta and submit the full URL or casino name. The result opens with the provincial list and links to its sources. Before creating an account, read the Alberta player conditions and compare the business named on the site with its directory entry.
An Alberta site entry stays attached to Alberta; registration in another province is a separate matter.
